SYNOPSIS FOR: Raw
Raw is an incredibly gory coming of age film about a student who follows in her family tradition of becoming a veterinarian. Leaving her doting parents for her first year at vet school, Justine’s idealistic upbringing is replaced with new found freedom that opens her eyes to the carnal desires, and dangerously seductive world around her.
Growing up as a vegetarian, she is mortified when she is forced (by her older sister, no less) to eat raw meat for the first time during a hazing ritual practiced by her fellow students. Justine suffers a severe reaction that manifests itself in a rash, peeling skin and an intoxicating appetite for human flesh that grows more dangerous the more she indulges it.
