SYNOPSIS FOR: A Kind of Murder
A Kind of Murder is a film adaptation of the novel, The Blunderer, written by Patricia Highsmith. Set in New York in the 1960s, a successful architect and his wife Clara have the seemingly perfect life but in truth Walter has grown tired of his neurotic wife. Lured into a passionate affair with am amorous woman, Walter harbors evil thoughts about killing his wife by imitating an unsolved murder he read about in the newspaper. When his wife turns up dead he becomes the prime suspect in her murder. His life spins out of control as an ambitious detective aggressively pursues him as a suspect and Walter is forced to prove is innocence.
