SYNOPSIS FOR: Toni Erdmann
Toni Erdmann is a lengthy caustic comedy centered on the relationship between a father and his estranged daughter. A divorced German music teacher, lonely after the death of his loyal companion, decides to visit his daughter, a highly successful if uptight business executive working in Bucharest. Winfried, always the practical joker, uses humor to infiltrate her high powered business meetings, social gatherings and even her dates to get her to re-examine her life and heal their relationship.
